Certainly, but we do recommend that you leave the packing of breakable items to the professionals, since all items packed by the owner travel at their own risk.
Do my appliances require special handling?
Our team can move your appliances, but we do recommend that you have a licensed professional uninstall your equipment and prepare it for the trip. We can even help you find local professionals that can perform this service.
What is the protocol for delivery arrivals?
When your goods arrive at their destination, they will be checked off a reference sheet that was created when the items were loaded. If any claims need to be made, this can be done at the time of delivery.
How much will a long distance move cost?
The cost of your move will be determined by the distance covered and the combined weight of the items moved. Associated Van Lines can provide you with a convenient estimate to outline all expenses.
Will your team remove paintings and curtain rods from the wall?
Unfortunately, we will not remove these items, but once they have been removed from the wall, we have special packing equipment to keep them protected.
Are there items that you will not move?
At Associated Van Lines, we follow government regulations which do not allow the transportation of dangerous goods. If you believe that any items may be hazardous, please disclose this information to us. Prohibited items include fire extinguishers, ammunition, gasoline, etc.
What if I am not prepared for my goods to arrive?
If you need more time before delivery, we can arrange for your items to be stored at an additional cost.
Can you guarantee your estimates?
Estimates can be guaranteed if all of the information we have received is correct. That is why it’s important for us to know about all of the items being transported, including those that might need to be picked up from storage units or other locations.
How do you keep track of all of my belongings?
Our drivers will keep a detailed and accurate inventory upon loading. An inventory will track items by number and description. When delivered, your items can be cross-referenced against this inventory.
How long will the move take?
Moving times can vary depending on the weather, distance, customs, and many other factors. Please allow time for slight delays in your relocation schedule.
Are delivery dates guaranteed?
We will not guarantee a date of delivery, but we always strive to ensure expedient service that is to your satisfaction.
